Today we realised we couldn't go any further with the planning of charlie without speaking to the director and getting some yes or no answers to our ideas and questions we had, so on the afternoon we got chance to speak with her and go through out list of questions, while making notes on her answers I showed her our mood boards and ideas we had came up with for the characters, then found out she had changed some of the characters from what we had originally been giving and designed for so we would have to come up with new designs for these characters. the director also mentioned to us that her actors help with ideas for her characters in the way they play them and that they have some of there own ideas on what they want there character to be like. One of our questions we had for the director was to ask for headshots of the actors so this could also help us come up with ideas that would also suit each actor. We ended up deciding to join in with the actors meeting later that afternoon so that we could put our ideas tot hem and they could also share theirs with us, i took the lead when it came to sharing our thoughts with the actors and asked one of my piers to take notes on this. I went through our ideas for the characters by family's with the cast that would be playing that family and we took notes about amendments that would need to be done. Since the play is double cast we also have two lots of the same family but with the actors playing their parts differently so some of the characters will need to have different face charts for their second cast, for this we got pictures of the family's in their groups together to make this easier for us to refer to.
